Learning Tostan’s Human Rights Approach to Community –led Development
Bedari Staff member Ms. Saima Toor (Program Manager) participated in ten days training on “Tostan’s Approach of Empowering Communities” through skills and knowledge. Tostan- Dignity for all is working since 1974 in Senegal. Ms. Molly Melching is the founding member of Tostan. This training was conducted in Dakar – Senegal from April 6-16, 2016. Bedari staff participates in training workshop on baseline survey tools in Nepal
Bedari Staff participated in a regional workshop on baseline survey conducted by Amsterdam University in Nepal from 4th to 9th April under Her Choice Project, which aims at addressing the issue of child marriages in many countries including Pakistan. In the workshop, fourteen members from five 5 organizations of Nepal,Bangladesh and Pakistan participated.
