“We’re Leaders” is a four-year (2019-2023) Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA) funded project currently being implemented in District Sheikhupura, Punjab. The project targets to facilitate in preparation of 21000 CNICS of local women, capacity building trainings related to civil and political rights, work place and cyber harassment of young girls who are currently enrolled in academic institutions (University/college). Moreover, paid internship opportunity for female freshly graduates in different cohorts is also the one of major goals of the project. Moreover, as per APA, 10 Hum Awaz (Active Citizens) group members and 10 Hum Nigran group members including active citizens and Women counselors were formed at the commencement of the project.
Bedari Project Team is in a great liaison with District Election Commission and NADRA for their active support in NIC and Voter Registration Campaign and also engaging the community elders and ex LGs representative in identification and listing of unregistered women.
