Bedari is implementing this 9 month project in Gujranwala, district of Punjab Province. The donor of this project is TDEA(Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability). The project focuses on areas as important as improvement in the electoral rolls, under-registration of voters particularly women, minority and persons with disabilities. In addition, it seeks to encourage public debate, dialogue and discourse to strengthen a pro-democracy narrative in the country.

During this period, Bedari will work in 556 electoral areas of the district to enhance the ratio of registered women voters in electoral rolls by engaging all the stakeholders including NADRA and ECP. Moreover, district level charter of demand will be prepared and citizens will be engaged in district conventions on need for people-centered election manifestoes. Additionally, a pro-democracy narrative based on tolerance and counter extremism will be promoted by engaging youth of colleges and Universities in constructive dialogues.

The basic purpose of the project is to promote a pro-democracy narrative.
