Bedari had the honor of meeting Professor Scott, the President of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), to share the progress and impact of the Empowering Women and Girls project. During the meeting, the dedicated members of the Local Support Group (LSG), who are volunteers in Khushab and Bhakkar, shared their inspiring efforts to combat gender inequality, reintegrate children back into school, and drive change within their communities.
The Meeting also featured the beneficiaries of the Empowering Women and Girls project, who have participated in skill training under Bedari’s collaboration with COL. These women and girls proudly showcased their work and shared the empowering journeys they have experienced. Their stories of transformation demonstrate the profound impact of skill development and education in enabling women and girls to create brighter futures.
Bedari staffs were present to contribute to the discussion and reinforce the importance of collaboration in achieving the goals of gender equality and empowerment.
