Sadia Riaz

Sadia Riaz is the innovator of EYW project Basti Khokhar Isra Thal Rajan Shah، District Layyah. She is 25 years old and provides financial support to her family. Sadia Riaz belongs to a poor family and lives in rural areas. She is a hardworking girl, she wants to complete her studies and strengthen her family financiall. Powerfully describe the hardship and the life circumstances. Sadia is a graduate, after graduation, she did a diploma in physiotherapist and now she is doing house job in DHQ Layyah. Sadia was invited by a fellow to attend an EYW orientation meeting in her village. While a youth group of Cycle 1 was being formed. After attending the meeting, Sadia went to her father to get permission to join the youth group. Her father and mother attended the meeting and after the meeting they allowed Sadia to join the EYW project as an innovator. During the session, they learned more effective business techniques and how to increase their income. Influenced by GALS training, she wanted to work on Business and Job placement, as she visualized his personal development plan as business-oriented (home-based business). Describe what the project has done for them [You can take three statements] —–the tipping point? Sadia joined EYW as an innovator, she participated in activities and training regularly.Her consistency with EYW was strong enough to get her involved in training. She successfully started a home-based business (small bakery). What new did they learn from the project? The success of cake and pastry baking at the domestic level encouraged Sadia to consider bakery on a larger scale. She discussed the idea with her family. She said I discussed the idea with my mother. Because I have learned in the EYW training that woman should be empowered and involved in family decision making. Her mother said this is a good idea to start a home base business. With the help of her father and brother, she managed to bake work and take orders on a phone call; sadia saved money and started a boutique at the home level with some dresses. Sadia runs her own baking business at home. She makes beautiful and attractive designs of cakes and pastries. Which is available at a reasonable price? Sadia is currently running a profitable business at her home. Sadia wants to register her business Cake O Clock and also work for her group members. In District Layyah I want to develop links with various offices and bakeries then I will take orders online and deliver my orders at the door. She is happy and wants to expand her business, but she is unable to start a large-scale business due to the lack of resources and investment.
