Shehbaz belongs to very backward area in Vehari where Bedari is implementing Building Child Marriage Free Communities Her Choice Program. Shehbaz drives three wheel rickshaw for his livelihood. A girl benefitting under BCMFC uses his rickshaw for attending school. Shehbaz used to take other girls on very low fare and even some of them absolutely free. Becaue of Shehbaz’s selfless approach villagers approach towards girls education is changing. There is no such trend of sending children to school in his village. Especially in girls case situation is alarming. Social pressure and economic condition is a big reason for educational crisis in the vaillage. Some boys and a very few girls are attending school by foot near the village. Most of the villagers are working on daily wages for income. Therefore, it is really hard to manage educational expenses of their children.
