Sidra Batool is 23 years old and has 6 brothers. Her parents’ education is primary. She belongs to a poor family, and their source of income is agriculture and livestock. When she completed her matriculation, her elder brother stopped her education due to financial problems, but her father wanted to educate her daughter. He allowed his daughter to continue her education. She belonged to the traditional environment of the rural area. There were no opportunities for girls and no information about job or other economic opportunities .She wants to do job and support her family but her father and brother not allowed her to do job. She joined EYW Project as Innovator in Cycle -3 in Layyah. She learned a lot about life skills, gender sensitivity, and modern techniques of agriculture, business and employment. After the Gender Base Violence training she sensitized her family and friends about GBV and women empowerment. She convinced her family for working and contributes in economic empowerment of women. She holds a bachelor’s degree in science Mr. Wasim Imtiaz Hub Officer Share a RCDP job advertisement in what’sapp group also referred her. She appeared an interview and got a job as a credit officer at RCDP. She continued her education, and contributed to the family income. The Empower Youth for Work Training has been very helpful to Sidra Batool and other members of the group, they all are satisfied and are doing very well in their respective businesses. Now they want to scale up their business. She will continue to help them to improve their business in the future. She encourages poor people to improve their existing business and helps them with opportunities to start a new business.
