With over 17 years of experience in community mobilization, training and counseling, Yasmeen Fatima is a dedicated development professional leading the RISE Project while also overseeing Bedari’s provincial operations in Lahore as Provincial Coordinator. She holds master’s degrees in Gender & Women Studies and English, equipping her with a strong foundation in advocacy, facilitation, and project implementation.

A Master Trainer for the Stand Up 5S Street Harassment Program, Yasmeen plays a key role in empowering women and girls to reclaim public spaces. She has been an integral part of Bedari since 2008, leading field operations in Vehari and forming women’s support groups to combat sexual harassment, domestic violence, and child marriage. Her expertise in case management and psychosocial counseling has transformed countless lives.
Beyond her fieldwork, Yasmeen manages Bedari’s provincial-level initiatives in Lahore, ensuring smooth coordination with government agencies, NGOs and human rights organizations. She actively engages in policy advocacy, strategic planning and project oversight to further Bedari’s mission of gender equality and child protection.
