This project is being implemented in Chakwal district with financial support from Plan International. Through this project, Bedari is providing micro-credit to young men and women to start their own businesses or any other self-employment activity. They had already received skill training from Plan International. The loan is being provided without any collateral.
Additionally, Bedari has been helping another 100 youth get familiar with the existing government and non-government institutions providing micro-finance to young entrepreneurs. Workshops and training on leadership and confidence building are also part of the project. Bedari is encouraging female youth to be part of this project. All the beneficiaries are encouraged to meet periodically, share, and learn from one another’s experiences.
The project is helping young men and women increase their earning, and improve their living standards. It would help realize their right to adequate standard of living.
